Firefly Software Solutions Inc. is a transformation consulting and technology company focused on finance and insurance. We connect business direction, experience design, and engineering—from understanding what needs to change to building the capabilities behind it.

Why we exist

Business change needs software that can change with it.

Financial and insurance products depend on interconnected systems. A change to a customer journey can affect documents, business rules, account or policy data, and the work of several teams. We approach transformation with those connections in view.

Our work combines transformation roadmaps, service and experience design, enterprise architecture, custom development, and system integration. We focus on clear service boundaries and explicit business rules so that a new capability can fit the existing enterprise and evolve independently where appropriate.

That conviction also led us to develop Firefly’s open-source core banking platform and to found the Firefly Software Foundation, which develops and maintains open-source initiatives including banking software and enterprise frameworks.
