Firefly ReconcileOS · Reconciliation Operations

We match every transaction to its record and investigate every break.

At each cutoff, we reconcile your operational records to your financial ones and prepare the corrections for your approval.

ReconcileOS · Reconciliation Operations, as a line of five stages. Collect: an AI model reads, classifies, extracts or drafts. Match: deterministic code applies your approved rules. Investigate: an AI agent works the case within the limits you approve. Correct: your team decides. Close: deterministic code applies your approved rules.

The problem

A successful payment can still leave records that disagree.

When breaks are investigated by hand and nobody owns the correction, the same breaks come back every period.

Who it servesCFOs, controllers, and heads of finance operations, payment operations, and insurance accounting

What the service includes

We do the work within the limits of your policy.

Your service schedule lists the tasks your operation includes.

01

Sources and cash application

At cutoff, we collect bank statements, payment service provider (PSP) files, and ledger balances, and apply receipts under your rules.

02

Matching under approved rules

We match one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many under the rules and tolerances you approve.

03

Break investigation and suspense

Our AI agents trace each break to its cause, work down suspense, and propose the next action with the source evidence.

04

Settlements and chargebacks

We reconcile bank and PSP settlements to the ledger, gross to net, and prepare chargeback representments within scheme deadlines.

05

Proposed journals under maker-checker

We prepare adjusting journals as maker, with their evidence; your approver checks each one, and nothing posts without approval.

06

Close calendar and safeguarding

We reconcile to your close timetable, age open items against your thresholds, and reconcile safeguarding accounts for payment institutions.

Questions

What buyers ask before they scope.

Does ReconcileOS move money?

No. In the standard scope, we reconcile records and coordinate the corrections you authorize. Moving money needs explicit permissions and an authorized provider.

Can a period close with open exceptions?

Yes, if your acceptance policy allows it. Every open item stays visible, with its owner, value, and next action.

How do you measure completion?

Against the source population, cutoff, matching rules, and treatment of exceptions, not by a match rate alone.
