Firefly PolicyOS · Policy Operations

We complete every policy change, down to the last document.

We process issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in your policy administration system, with the documents and premium changes that follow.

PolicyOS · Policy Operations, as a line of five stages. Receive: an AI model reads, classifies, extracts or drafts. Check: deterministic code applies your approved rules. Authorize: your team decides. Update: the work is done in your systems. Reconcile: an AI agent works the case within the limits you approve.

The problem

One policy change touches many records.

Coverage, documents, premium, commissions, and notices must all agree, even when changes arrive out of sequence.

Who it servesHeads of policy administration, insurance operations, MGA operations, and intermediary service

What the service includes

We do the work within the limits of your policy.

Your service schedule lists the tasks your operation includes.

01

Policy issuance

From authorized terms, a bound quote, or a binder, we produce, validate, and issue the policy with its schedule and wording.

02

Mid-term adjustments and endorsements

We process approved mid-term adjustments (MTAs) and re-sequence out-of-order endorsements against the changes already booked.

03

Renewals and cancellations

We prepare renewals for your underwriter to accept and administer approved cancellations and reinstatements, with notice periods and effective dates.

04

Return premium and audits

We take return premium from your rating engine and prepare premium audit adjustments from declared exposures, for your approval.

05

Certificates of insurance

Within the authority you delegate, we issue certificates of insurance (COIs) and reissue them after every change to the cover.

06

Premium credit control and bordereaux

Under your rules, we run billing and lapse notices and produce premium bordereaux in each carrier’s format, reconciled to booked premium.

Must we move to a new policy administration system?
